Sneakers
Sneakers picks, all in one place: who this category suits, what to double-check before ordering, which part of the QC photos deserves a close look, and the trap newcomers fall for most. Read this page first, then shortlist with confidence.
Sneakers · Quick checks
Good for: The size tag and outsole appear in the listing photographs, and ratings hold across recent sales.
Confirm: That the tagged size is the one you ordered.
QC focus: Request a size-tag shot and an outsole shot before dispatch.
Trap: Brand stock photography with no warehouse images, and a price well under comparable rows.
Reading a sneaker listing properly
Listings reuse the same studio images across dozens of shops, so the photos tell you very little about the pair you will actually receive. Read the title for the colourway code, scroll to the size table for the insole length in centimetres, and check the seller's recent transaction history for the model. A price far below everyone else selling the same shoe usually means a different batch, not a bargain.
What the QC photos should actually show
A useful sneaker QC set is four shots: both shoes side by side to compare shape and height, a close frame of the size tag, a straight-on look at the toe box stitching, and the outsole tread so you can see the pattern is crisp. Ask for them before the parcel leaves the warehouse, not after. Glue residue around the midsole, uneven panel alignment and a logo that sits slightly off centre are the three defects worth rejecting a pair over.
After the parcel arrives
Photograph the shoes before you wear them, keep the packaging until you are sure you are keeping them, and report any structural defect within the agent's stated window. Wear marks end most return conversations immediately. If the fit is simply wrong and nothing is defective, reselling locally is usually faster and cheaper than shipping a worn pair back across the world.
Ordering this through Boonbuy
Boonbuy supports ordering across many categories and provides warehouse photography before shipment. The practical habit here is to place several small orders, let them accumulate at the warehouse, and release them together as one parcel. Freight is the largest controllable cost in any order, and consolidation is the main lever you have.
